McChord AFB, WA - Gate Hours, Map and Status

McChord AFB has five direct access points, four for passenger vehicles and one commercial. The Main Gate, home of the Visitor Control Center (VCC), is the only 24-hour gate for McChord Field. The Barnes Gate hours are 0500-1900, 7 days a week. The Woodbrook (Housing) Gate is open twice daily, M-F: mornings 0500-0900 and evenings 1500-1800. North Gate is also open twice a day, M-F: mornings 0545-0745 and evenings 1545-1745. The Commercial (CVIP) Gate's hours are 0600-1700 M-F, closed all holidays.

McChord (Field) AFB is part of the JBLM Joint Base, and therefore has several more access points through Fort Lewis. This list is only for McChord designated gates.
